Our Story
Dundalk Tidy Towns is committed to creating a cleaner and greener environment for the people of Dundalk. Working with the local community and businesses alike to improve the aesthetic appearance of the town. Promoting volunteerism from the local community to help with our litter picks and Spring cleanups. We opened our Bird Observatory on the Navvy Bank, which is the only one between Belfast and Dublin. Dundalk Tidy Towns has achieved Gold Medal status in the Tidy Towns Awards 2007-2019, 2022 as well as large town category winner in the Pollinator Award, 1st runner up in the Sustainable Development Goals Award and Highly Commended in the County Category.

The Dundalk Tidy Towns is always looking for volunteers to help Dundalk become a cleaner, greener and more attractive town. We have planned community activities and would like to encourage everyone to participate.

Volunteering will allow you to get out and about and feel involved in the community, to make new friends and to have a say in how Dundalk should look.
