Long walk - long term carpark

As you may know this was one of the areas that scored poorly in the last IBAL survey. It was agreed at our meeting with the council that we would join forces and improve this site.

 

Louth County Council cleared the overgrowth first and later Dundalk Tidy Towns teamed up with Irish Wheelchair Association to plant some lovely perennials. We also seeded each large end beds with wildflower seeds. We also plan to plant some spring bulbs over the next week. T

 

he guys from IWA will look after the area for us. So if you see them about please stop and say hello. As you will see from the photos, we are all working hard together to change the reputation of our town. Please help us make our town a great town live or work in.
