Pick and Pace launch

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new Litter picking initiative in collaboration with local secondary schools and sponsored by local businesses. This initiative was developed during a Chamber meeting with the goal of encouraging students to take an active role in maintaining a cleaner, greener Dundalk.

As part of this initiative, students will complete weekly litter picks in the areas around their school using supplies provided by local businesses. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for helping with the supplies for each school.​

This morning (23/10/2024) we were out at O'Fiaich College and Coláiste Rís who have sign up to our Pick and Pace initiative. This Initiative is part of the School Mentorship Programme and will run throughout the School year, Pupils from each school will commit to a litter pick once a week.
